About  Na-il

Na-il was born in Newark, New Jersey, and moved from there to San Diego, California, where his dance training began. Starting with hip hop during middle school, Na-il soon expanded his dance repertoire by taking ballet and jazz as after school electives. He started pursuing a professional dance career in college and discovered a love for muscular isolation and articulation through Belly Dance, first Egyptian cabaret, and then American Tribal Style later on. Na-il's favorite style of dance is Tribal Style Belly Dance, but he also trained in Jazz, Modern, Tap and now Ballroom.

He has joined the Teacher's Academy at The Santa Rita Ballroom, and is training for certification as a ballroom instructor. He is teaching the Belly Dance Fundamentals class on Monday nights from 6-7pm at Shall We Dance on 4101 E. Grant Road.

As a Ballroom instructor, Na-il offers exemplary training because of his professional background in Belly Dance. Both men and women can benefit from this class, as it will target hip movement and arm styling, while teaching you how to dance with precision and control to music ranging from traditional to popular.
